About Us
North Island Roller Derby (NIRD) is a not-for-profit flat track roller derby league based out of the Comox Valley, BC, Canada. Offering a safe, inclusive, and fun environment for all our members is paramount. Our league is comprised of skaters and officials of all levels and we offer both WFTDA and open gender gameplay.
Established in 2024, we at NIRD are excited to support the growth of roller derby on Vancouver Island and are always looking for new people to join this awesome community!
