NEW ROLLER SKATES BUYING GUIDE

Looking for an all inclusive guide to buying new skates the first time?
Check out this Resource written by one of our skates Guru’s.

CANADIAN ROLLER SKATE RETAILERS

Canadian skate retailers listed by proximity to The Comox Valley. All of the shops listed are trusted sources to buy skates and gear in Canada.

Influenceboardshop.com, (Victoria BC , Limited stock)
This is a skateboard shop that has recently brought in limited stock in roller skates and accessories. Might be worth checking out if you’re in Victoria but if you’re ordering online, there’s a lot more options at the roller skate specific shops below.

Rollergirl.ca (Vancouver, BC )
Excellent shop in Vancouver. Shipping is cheap and generally quick to the CV. Brick and mortar shop open to public close to Main and Broadway.

Bad Girlfriend (Morinville AB)
Trustworthy shop run by long time derby player with great prices, good selection and fast shipping to the CV. They charge less taxes so you might get a slight better deal here.

Nerd Roller Skates (Calgary AB)
Calgary based shop with good amount of inventory and $15 flat rate shipping. Nothing bad to say here.

Rollerskatin.ca (Woodstock ON)
Lots of products (some very obscure) but sometimes not actually in stock when advertised. Some people love them, some people don’t. Legit company but better options out there.

Retro Rollers, (London ON)
Great selection, prompt and super friendly service. Shipping from Ontario takes a bit longer but that’s no fault of theirs. Great company.

Low Life Skate Shop, (Montreal QC)
Derby run, quality brands, very cool apparel line, sometimes slightly pricier but they have free shipping over $50. Worth checking out even if it’s not always the most economical for BC folks.

USED ROLLER SKATES

Considering buying used? New and seasoned skaters alike can get some excellent deals on barely used gear if you’re keeping an eye out. Not sure what you’re looking for or if something you find is a good fit for you? Ask in our group and get some advice!  Note, these are all active FACEBOOK GROUPS.
